2301A

4–20 mA or 1–5 Vdc Full Authority Speed Setting

The 2301A Speed Control controls the speed or load of diesel or gas engines, or steam or gas turbines. The unit provides control in the isochronous mode, with droop available through an externally-wired potentiometer. The isochronous mode is used for constant speed of the controlled prime mover as long as it is able to provide power to satisfy the load.

2301E

Woodward’s 2301E provides load sharing and speed control of generators being driven by diesel or gaseous engines. With built-in flexible configuration software, application variations can now be selected using an external computer (PC). Changing the application to accommodate engine speed range, gear teeth, and selection of forward or reverse acting is simply a matter of software setup.

DPG Series

Woodward DPG digital controllers for diesel or gas-fueled engines perform across a wide speed range and allow adjustment of set speed and gain with a built-in user interface. Independent programmable proportional, integral, and derivative gains provide custom governor response to diverse engine applications. The COMM port provides access to all other controller settings, allowing adaptation to each application during service and initial configuration. Internal FAILSAFE reacts instantly to loss of engine speed signal and allows actuator to return to minimum fuel.
